A production marketplace connecting clients, independent artisans, and job seekers across the Democratic Republic of Congo, built around three areas: services, job listings, and a directory of artisans.
Clients, artisans, and job seekers in the DRC had no single trusted place to find each other — services were arranged informally, and there was no structured way for artisans to build a track record or for job seekers to browse and apply to listings online.
We built a Laravel 12 platform with three integrated marketplaces (services, jobs, and artisans), a freemium subscription model with progression levels for artisans, and native Mobile Money payments through K-PAY. It's deployed in production on a self-managed VPS (Nginx, PHP, MySQL), and we ran a dedicated security pass covering IDOR fixes, CV access controls, brute-force protection, and hardened HTTP headers.
